At RPS Group, as a family-run business, investing in our local community goes beyond the installations we deliver. By employing locally, nurturing local talent we create long term career pathways. With almost 230 apprentices supported  to date, our commitment to skill development is at the heart of our values.

Jon-Paul has been a dedicated team member since 2006, for 20 years he has been delivering plumbing and heating contracts across the Wigan borough for RPS. His son Joseph has since joined RPS Group as a plumbing and heating apprentice, following in his dads footsteps.

Currently in his  second year Joseph is working across various sites gaining trade experience building a foundation for a long career in the industry. Having Joseph join RPS demonstrates the family culture that RPS Group pride ourselves on.

Apprenticeships are more than just learning a trade they build confidence and team work creating opportunities for young people. At RPS it is important for us that we continue to offer apprenticeships to ensure the next generation of skilled tradespeople have the opportunity to succeed.
