Compliance for the School

RPS has been awarded the contract for the Installation & Commissioning of new LED lighting & emergency lighting at Shevington High School.

Compliance & Safety Upgrades

Following the release of the new BS 5266-1:2025 emergency lighting standard many schools are upgrading their lighting. RPS is managing the installation to guarantee full compliance for the school.

Delivery

To minimise disruption to students and teachers the Installation took place across the summer holiday shutdown and will be completed in the autumn half term. RPS has delivered the upgrades to music rooms, science labs, maths block, hallways and changing rooms.

The new LED lighting comprises Dextra Reacta-Air light fittings and controls. In line with RPS’s commitment to environmental responsibility all old lighting that is removed from the building will be fully recycled by Dereco recycling.
