How we work matters as much as what we deliver. Our policies set the standards we hold ourselves to — on every site, in every home, and across our supply chain. Below is a summary of our key commitments; full policy documents are available on request — please contact us for a copy.
Everyone at RPS — from our directors and senior managers to our site operatives — is committed to the values set out in our Equal Opportunities Policy. We actively promote equality and fairness across our workforce and in every aspect of our business.
We operate an open-door culture: every employee has direct access to our senior management team to raise any issue, at any time. Our policies are reviewed regularly to make sure they reflect best practice and the needs of our people.
RPS Group is committed to achieving Net Zero carbon emissions by 2038, playing our part in the decarbonisation of the United Kingdom.
As a specialist in heating, renewables and retrofit, we understand the importance of protecting the environment in which we operate — it's at the heart of what we do for our clients every day. We measure and report our greenhouse gas emissions on a regular basis and deliver decarbonisation strategies aligned with the Paris Agreement, through efficiency improvements, renewable energy and the elimination of carbon emissions across our operations.
Our progress is set out in our Carbon Reduction Plan.
Nothing we do is more important than keeping our people, our clients and the public safe.
RPS is accredited to ISO 45001, the international standard for occupational health and safety management, and we continually review and improve our systems to maintain the highest standards. Every project we deliver is covered by our ISO 45001-accredited system, with bespoke health and safety packages tailored to the specific requirements of each project and client.
We are also accredited to CHAS, SafeContractor, SMAS and Constructionline Gold.
RPS has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in all its forms — slavery, servitude, forced labour and human trafficking.
We act ethically and with integrity in everything we do, and we operate effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery has no place in our business or our supply chains. We expect the same standards from every contractor, supplier and business partner we work with, consistent with our obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
