We have expanded our partnership with Together Housing by installing new heat pump training facilities at the housing associations in-house centre in Halifax, supporting the development of renewable heating skills across its engineering team.
We have donated and fitted three operational heat pump systems, using the same air-source and ground-source technology already being rolled out across Together Housings retrofit programmes.
The training bays feature systems from Kensa, Mitsubishi and Panasonic, giving both new and experienced engineers hands-on experience in installation, servicing and maintenance.

We have been working closely with Together Housing on major renewable heating programmes, including a four-year scheme launched in 2022 to retrofit 2,000 homes across Yorkshire.
The programme involves installing air-source and ground-source heat pumps, PV solar, battery storage and insulation upgrades.
The new facility is designed to raise technical capability and support Together Housings long-term plans to meet rising demand for energy-efficient homes.
Our partnership also contributes to shared social value goals and supports Together Housings Go Green Together initiative, which aims to expand local talent and accelerate progress towards Net Zero homes.
"The training centre provides us with many opportunities to upskill talented staff and with the addition of the heat pumps kindly donated from RPS Group, we can drive our Net Zero focus even further."
Sheridan Boyd, Together Housing
"These new training facilities are a great way for technicians to sharpen their skills and get proper hands-on experience. Our aim is to help upskill Togethers team and give them the confidence and capability to maintain, optimise and troubleshoot systems in the future."
