Rothwell Plumbing Services renewable energy department was privileged to provide the technical and installation expertise for the design and installation of a Solar Photovoltaic System which provides a supplementary renewable energy solution for the buildings total electricity power requirements.
The solution was to install 5 separate, but interlinked roof mounted Solar PV arrays totalling approximately 40kWp and producing an estimated 1450kWh of electricity annually with an expected reduction of the buildings CO2 emissions of approximately 17 tonnes each year. The Solar PV System covers approximately 140 square metres of roof space, incorporates 142 – 270 watt polycrystalline solar panels and is also predicted to provide significant cost savings on the buildings annual running costs over the lifespan of the Solar PV system.
The Solar Photovoltaic installation was completed over three weeks in early 2019 and our client, Bardsley Construction are delighted with the renewable energy system and proud of their contribution in helping protect the environment through positive design and application.
