Solar PV Servicing & Maintenance – Magenta Living

Rothwell Plumbing Services Group is proud to partner with Magenta Living, a prominent not-for-profit housing provider, to deliver solar photovoltaic (PV) Servicing & Maintenance across their extensive property portfolio.

Magenta Living, with nearly 13,000 properties under management, is the largest affordable housing provider in Wirral and operates across the North West of England. With ambitious plans for expansion to build over 1,000 new homes and investment in around £200m in property development, Magenta Living prioritises the maintenance and optimisation of their existing assets, including their solar PV systems.

The project began on 1st February 2024 and spans over 2 years, with a 1-year extension. The scope of work entails routine inspection and testing of solar PV systems across 100 properties, along with maintenance and provision of call-out and repair services during both core and out-of-hours.

The comprehensive maintenance activities include planned maintenance inspections, servicing, and health checks to ensure the continued optimal performance of the solar PV systems. Additionally, the RPS Group are covering the removal and replacement of faulty AMR meters & inverters, as well as the decommissioning and reinstallation of solar PV systems to facilitate roofing repairs. These tasks are carried out by a dedicated maintenance team, ensuring efficiency and reliability throughout the project lifecycle.
