Rothwell Group The Lightbox

Rothwell Plumbing Services Ltd has successfully completed work on the first of the two impressive 19 storey apartment blocks known as the ‘Lightbox at the Media City complex on the banks of the Manchester ship canal in Salford for our client, the ‘Lorne Stewart Group.

Our work on phase one of the project comprising 238 one, two & three bedroom apartments over 19 floors, began in February 2018 and was completed on schedule in June 2019.

Our work package included the installation of all mechanical, plumbing, heating, ventilation and electrical infrastructure works throughout both 19 storey apartment blocks, followed by the final installation phase of high specification kitchens and bathrooms all fitted with millimetre precision detail to meet the exacting standards of the projects demanding quality specification.

The 238 ‘High spec apartments in each block included wet heating systems with panel radiators providing modern individually controlled zones within each apartment. Our skilled tradespeople worked to fine tolerances and underwent strict quality control inspections throughout both the initial installation and the final finishing stages to ensure an extremely high quality finished product which exceeded all the clients expectations.

The final phase of the project which includes the second 19 storey, 238 apartment block is due to be completed in December 2019.
