RPS Group Shortlisted for Retrofit Collaboration of the Year at Unlock Net Zero Awards

RPS Group is delighted to announce that our collaborative project with Together Housing Group has been shortlisted for the prestigious "Retrofit Collaboration of the Year" award at the 2024 Unlock Net Zero Awards. This recognition underscores the hard work and dedication of both teams in our joint efforts to decarbonise and enhance energy efficiency across Together Housings extensive property portfolio.
 

Recognising Excellence in Decarbonisation

The Unlock Net Zero Awards, held in partnership with the British Property Federation (BPF) and sponsored by Next Energy, celebrate outstanding achievements in the journey towards decarbonisation in the UKs housing, built environment, and property sectors. The awards highlight the significant contributions of professional services and supply chains that support these sectors.

Scheduled for 26 June 2024 at Manchester Central, the awards ceremony will coincide with Housing 2024, further spotlighting the innovative projects and collaborations driving sustainability and energy efficiency in housing.
 

A Landmark Project in Retrofitting and a Strong Partnership

Together Housing, a social landlord managing approximately 38,000 properties in the north of England, initiated a comprehensive carbon reduction strategy in 2021. The goal is to elevate all properties with an EPC rating of D or below to a minimum of band C by 2030. This ambitious plan includes significant investments in both light and deep retrofit programs.

Post-installation, RPS Group provides ongoing support through remote monitoring and data analytics of the heat pumps. This capability allows for proactive maintenance and swift resolution of any issues, enhancing the overall efficiency and performance of the systems.

The close working relationship between RPS Group and Together Housing has been a cornerstone of this projects success.
