Peachment Place

Rothwell Building Services on behalf of RPS Group Ltd have recently completed work on the ‘Peachment Place project in Bury. The £9.6 million new build development provides one & two bedroom supported living accommodation for the over-55s, and was successfully completed on time in January 2019

The extra care development comprises 60 purpose-built apartments, offering the over-55s much-needed affordable housing for rent whilst enabling residents to live active, healthy and independent lives with the benefit of in-house 24 hour 7 days a week care and support.

The building consists of 14 one-bed and 46 two-bed extra care apartments, with their own front doors, complemented by communal and community facilities including Bistro, Hair and beauty salon, Spa room, Assisted bathroom & Communal lounge areas.

Our scope of works included the installation of the mechanical and plumbing systems throughout the building, as well as a centralised plantroom, potable boosted cold water, wet heating system to all apartments and communal areas with heat interface units, sanitaryware, above ground drainage systems and rainwater systems.

Our client Six Town Housing have given us excellent feedback on the quality of our work and on our successful project completion which was delivered on time and within budget.
