The state-of-the-art facility boasts a 70 station Technogym gym, kitted out with the latest cardio & strength equipment, functional zone and free weights area. This is alongside a fantastic studio facility that will host instructor led and virtual classes. The grounds also include an outside a multi-use games area for tennis, netball & basketball, and a separate 3G synthetic football pitch.
Mechanical services consist of a central plantroom providing VT & CT-LTHW circuits to radiators, underfloor heating, radiant heat ceiling panels, air-handling units & warm air curtains. Domestic hot water is heated by a central calorifier for the various W.C blocks, Showers and changing rooms. Incoming mains are directed to the plantroom and boosted by use of a MCW tank & Booster set within the plantroom.
Ventilation services supply re-cycled and refreshed air to the gym spaces and Air Conditioning provides Comfort Heating/Cooling for the rapidly varying temperatures the facility will undergo.
A building management System has been installed for the building services and plantroom operations, and Merlin Gas Safety monitoring and mains shut down Gas solenoid for building safety.
We also supplied and installed the Specialist sanitaryware, brassware, above ground drainage and internal rainwater to the site.
The entrance and central areas boast decorative and stylistic lighting over inspiration phrases and motivational quotes.
We thoroughly enjoyed our undertaking, tidy and timely completion of this project. Were excited to see the facility in use and our seamlessly integrated installations working unknowingly and super efficiently behind the scenes.
